Hello, I’m Katie - otherwise known as The Thrifty Stork. As well as Mummy, of course! I have three little boys, who are my passion!
I’m also passionate about joyous, ethical, sustainable clothes for little people. I carry a beautiful portfolio of organic clothing brands, all of which I feel proud to represent, and excited to introduce to you!
I found organic cotton when my twins were born, and their painful eczema just broke my heart. Trawling forums for ideas when creams failed to relieve their discomfort, I came across Mums who felt that organic clothes weren’t just kind to the planet, but also to new, sensitive skin. I have added my voice to this chorus – organic clothes enhanced our lives!
Then I began to learn about the environmental impact of farming sustainably, and of employing ethically. My new-found awareness of the impact my purchasing choices drove an entire lifestyle change; from a career in IT to Indie Retailer, inspired by my children!
As well as curating lovely collections from various Organic brands, available for you to browse and buy from the shop in Exeter or my website, I also offer personal 'virtual browsing' sessions. Searching for a special occasion outfit, or building a capsule where everything works together - just give me a little guidance and I suggest and recommend from across the ranges.
